Sirius XM Radio’s Willie’s Place channel today will broadcast a live performance by Willie Nelson and Asleep at the Wheel direct from Carl’s Corner, Texas.

The concert will cap off a full day of live broadcasts from Sirius XM’s studio at the truck stop complex and celebrate the 5th annual grand opening of Willie’s Place bio-diesel truck stop and “Night Life” theater.

Willie Nelson and Texas swing ambassadors Asleep at the Wheel will perform live today, February 24th, starting at 10pm ET. If you miss it, encore broadcasts of the performance will air on Saturday, February 28th at 3pm ET.

Additionally, Bill Mack, the “Satellite Cowboy,” and Dallas Wayne will be broadcasting live from the Sirius XM studio inside Willie’s Place at Carl’s Corner.

The Bill Mack Show will air live from Carl’s Corner on Tuesday, February 24th and Wednesday, February 25th from 12pm – 3pm ET. Dallas Wayne will broadcast live from Carl’s Corner, on the same days, from 3pm – 7pm ET.

Listeners will hear live interviews throughout the day and will have the opportunity to call in and speak with Mack’s and Wayne’s special guests.

Of course, all of this will air on the Willie’s Place channel (Sirius channel 64 and XM channel 13).

The concert celebrates the “Fifth Annual Grand Opening” of Willie’s Place bio-diesel truck stop and “Night Life” theater. The performance also concludes the tour promoting the release of Willie & The Wheel, Nelson’s long-anticipated collaboration with the Texas Swing legends Asleep at The Wheel.

Carl’s Corner is the alternative fuel truck stop and all-around entertainment oasis – Sirius XM built the Willie’s Place studio in 2007 and broadcasts live from Carl’s Corner every day. Carl’s Corner is located on Interstate 35 in Carl’s Corner, one hour south of Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas.
