Thanks to Lane, who sent me these pictures he took in Amsterdam in 4/08. Snoop Dogg joined Willie Nelson on stage at the Melkweg in Amsterdam, and the next night Willie returned the favor and went on stage at Snoop’s show at the same venue.
Snoop Dogg, Willie Nelson and Faithless are among the acts who have been revealed in the final line-up for this year’s Glastonbury Festival.
They will join headliners Muse, Stevie Wonder and U2 at the event, which celebrates its 40th birthday this year.
Vampire Weekend, Scissor Sisters, Pet Shop Boys and Paloma Faith will also perform at the festival which runs from 23-27 June.
Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis said the line-up was “staggering”.
Traditionally, the final bill is not announced until the event begins.
But this year’s announcement comes days after the final batch of tickets for the music festival at Worthy Farm, Somerset, sold out.
Dance DJs
“This is it!” said Eavis. “The most staggering line up to match the 40-year reputation of the festival.”
Vampire Weekend, Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson will all play the Pyramid Stage on Friday, which is headlined by U2.
The Scissor Sisters will play before Muse on the main stage on Saturday, while Pet Shop Boys will perform on the Other Stage.
Paloma Faith and Faithless are lined up to play Sunday, when Stevie Wonder headlines.
Other acts on the bill include The Flaming Lips, Hot Chip, Florence and the Machine, Reef, Lightning Seeds, Norah Jones and former Guns N’Roses star Slash.
More than 350 acts have been booked to perform over the weekend, ranging from dance DJs to eclectic world musicians.
The full list of performers across 12 stages can be seen on the festival’s website.
