NEW YORK: The Hasbro Corporation announced today their plans to develop Willie Nelson Monopoly. The game is modeled after the company’s popular board game.
It the game, players will have the opportunity to purchase real estate, including, “Austin City Limits”, “Carl’s Corner” “Luck, Texas” “The Back Yard”, “Charley’s” and “Abbott Cash and Carry Grocery Store.”
Players will randomly select game pieces fashioned as “Trigger”, ”Honeysuckle Rose”, “Harmonica”, “Drumstick”, “Vaporizer” and “DEA Agent”. They will draw cards, including the dreaded “Busted by DEA Agents in Mississippi”, and will be ordered to “Go to jail, directly to jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200″ and “You have been invited to play in West, TX Polka Band. Collect $8.”
Hasbro hopes the new game will be out in time for Christmas 2011. For more information:
