Willie Nelson suprised Ray Price today, and called in to Willie’s Place when Ray was on the Bill Mack Show.
It was so fun to hear the three of them tell stories on each other, jokes and talk about music and mutual friends. They all had me giggling.
He talked about his upcoming show at the Ryman Auditorium (Nov. 5th), with Tbone Burnett, and the Nashville musicians who recorded on his upcoming bluegrass/country album he recorded there last month.
Also, he told about the concert last night, where he and Wynton Marsalis performed at a show honoring Bill Cosby in Washington D.C..
Willie Nelson and Family will perform tonight in Elmyra, NY. Tomorrow night, he performs at another fundraiser in New York City, at the T. J. Martell Foundation Gala.
Willie asked them both if they knew what was better than roses on your piano? You’ll have to figure out the answer for yourself. Willie knows the funniest stories, most of them dirty, I think.
