I know you play older country which is what I enjoy. LOVE LOVE your station. Would like to hear “Its Not Something You Get Over” That song touched my heart when explaining to others what it is like to have lost a spouse is just impossible. The words of that song just nailed it. I first heard it shortly after the loss of my husband of 37 years to pancreatic cancer. I was on my way to my daughter’s house who lives an hour away, I almost had to pull over I was crying so hard. But the song says life goes on and as luck would have it that got me through my diagnoses of cancer just 10 months later. I came very close to refusing treatment but every time I began to waiver this song would come on and I could hear my husband say you have to fight this and go on the kids need you. Thank you for all the great music that calls up so many wonderful memories and for your dad’s son that helped me cope with my grief. I really enjoy listening to you and your stories. Please let your dad know how much that song has helped me. Stay safe and God Bless

Paula you don’t talk to much. Just keep on a doing what you been a doing. I enjoy listening to you and getting those updates on your dad. I was in my early teens when I first heard your dad on Austin City Limits you can say he bought me into country music when country wasn’t cool even though I grew up listening to my folks old 78 rpms that I have in my garage still to this day and a few of your father’s early albums.

Be safe and take care of Pa Pa Willie.
