Ever wonder what Willie’s crew does when Willie takes a break? Here’s how Budrock, Lighting Director for Willie Nelson and Family, spent his couple of weeks, while Willie was playing music with his sons and playing golf with his friends.
Budrock rode his motorcycle to Sturgis, South Dakota with a friend, and they took the colorful route – through Colorado, and captured some beautiful pictures of my home state. The pictures are beautiful, Buddy. Thanks for sharing them.
And Willie, if by any chance you are reading this, I hope this reminds you how beautiful Colorado is, and how cool it is in the mountains in the summer, with no humidity, and that you’ll consider buying another home here.

We went across Independence Pass and the Highest point in Colorado on our way thru Aspen. I would have to say that it WAS the most incredible motorcycle ride of my life.
