Jodi from Texas, trained on the Texas Willie Nelson 4th of July Picnics, was a trooper, and layered up to stay warm, and held onto our precious front row spots on the fence.
A working day for Scooter Franks, he overseas Willie Nelson’s official traveling merchandise show, and gets ready to unload shirts, bandannas, posters, and all the other unique Willie Nelson souveniers.
Shelly flew in from the island of Oahu, and picked up her cousin Joan, from Durango, and met us at the show. Oh, and fyi, those snow covered mountains behind them was Willie and the band’s view from the stage, and they got to watch the sun set behind the range.
And this is my new friend Skye (if that is his real name. Just kidding Skye.). Skye is a big Jason Isbell fan, and I snapped this picture of the two of them hanging out together at the festival.
I don’t know who these folks were, big Willie Nelson fans, though, so they fit right in.
Everyone was having a great time.
