Each morning before the Farm Aid conference kicks off, Farm Aid organizers, artists who are performing and local farmers hold a press conference and talk about the state of affairs in their state. Farmers and activists talk about the problems and solutions being created to help solve them.
Neil Young talked about the need for help from the top of our government to help family farmers and that we need to tell farmers we care and show farmers we care.
