Tickets for the Farm Aid Fundraising Concert set for October 4, 2009, officially went on sale today. The concert will be at the Verizon Center in St.Louis, Missour, and are being sold through Live Nation.
Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Neil Young, Dave Matthews, Matthew Houck and Phosphorescent, Jamie Johnson, Wilco have all been announced as artists who will peform at the concert.
Willie Nelson, Neil Young, Dave Matthews and John Mellencamp are all on the Farm Aid Board of Directors.

The Farm Aid organization got its start in 1985. Over the past 24 years, the charity has reeled in nearly 35-million-dollars to fund programs that help farmers thrive. The money also goes toward expanding the reach of the Good Food Movement, taking action to change the current system of industrial agriculture, and promoting food grown on family farms.
