Dana and I went to this show last night. It’s about a half an hour from our place in Northern San Diego County, and after we were almost there, we discovered that we both forgot the camera! We had a big laugh and decided that this meant we were supposed to take the night off. So we did, and had a great time.
It is beautiful venue set right against this mountain. The moon was out and because it is out in the country, you could see the stars very clearly. I was watching the sky and not the stage during Angel Flying Too Close to The Ground. It provided the perfect backdrop. The Honeysuckle Rose was parked right behind the stage too providing a little extra decoration. No Texas flag, though. Perhaps after Colorado, they decided to forgo it on the rest of the outside shows.
All-in-all, very fun show. Lukas joined them for the whole show. I always enjoy his guitar playing and was glad to see him there.
Anyway, I have nothing to report other than that I had a good time!

George, you painted such a nice picture of your evening, that I didn’t even miss your pictures! Well, you know that’s not true – your pictures are always spectacular. But thanks for a great review. I know what you mean; sometimes I like when the venue says no cameras-what-so-ever, and you just watch the show. Thanks again.
