The weather pushed us back, but it won’t hold us down.   The outdoor screening on the bayou is now scheduled for this Saturday, July 17th.   Unfortunately the new date means that a new acoustic performance is in the works as Robert Ellis could not join us this weekend, but we hope to have some news on that front shortly.

We have had a few questions about the film and so we wanted to provide some links with more information.  There is some debate about the date of the film, but it seems like the production crew agrees it was from the 2nd July 4th Celebration in College Station held in 1974.

Here is an interesting read about the 1974 concert from a blog by George Kovacik.  There is an article from the Village Voice in relation to a screening by Anthology Film Archives in 2009 as well.
