“The official release date of my new album Songs The Jukebox Taught Me is May 20, but early-bird copies are now available exclusively from my website and from Heart of Texas Records. After more than ten albums of mostly original material, I’ve chosen to pay tribute to the heroes and teachers who taught me this music. I’m honored to have some of my personal heroes and friends as very special guests on the album, and I hope you enjoy the new record as much as we enjoyed making it.
To mark the May 20th release date, I’ll be in Nashville that week, performing as well as broadcasting my radio show from the SiriusXM Nashville studios. On Saturday May 21, I’ll perform on the Grand Ole Opry and be the musical host of the Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree. And on May 23-24, I’m proud to take part in a TV taping of RFD TV’s Country’s Family Reunion for a special Tribute to Merle Haggard.”
