It still takes some imagination and a little squinting to see it complete, but NWA’s newest music venue is coming together in time for a July 3rd launch.
Osage Creek Amphitheater will open with Willie Nelson’s Country Throwdown tour featuring the Red-Headed Stranger, Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser, Lee Brice and others.
Last week, the site was open for a small tour and, as the hostess Lee Ann Van Winkle-Gisler pointed out, it’s the kind of site you have to visit to understand.
The rural Benton County setting lends some incredibly natural beauty to the location. The venue features 5,000 in reserve seating and potentially 12,000 total seating, though that’s still under discussion.
We’ve been told to expect some exciting announcements in the coming days on other bands that will be playing at the new venue.
