Half the fun (well, almost half), of going to see Willie Nelson, is getting to hang out with his fans who are friends, some of the nicest folks ever. At the Harvest the Hope concert last Saturday I got to spend time with the lovely Thompson Twins, mother and daughter Terry and Jenny, from Oklahoma, and Carla and Pete from Coloradoand my baby sister!.

Good times for a good cause, as proceeds from the Willie Nelson/Neil Young and others concert go to support those fighting the installation of the Trans Canada Keystone XL Pipeline, proposed to be laid from Alberta Canada to the Gulf of Mexico, through the midwest and Oglala Aquifer, and Ponca tribal land.
