MINNEAPOLIS — As part of Farm Aid 40, the national family farm advocacy organization is hosting a pre-festival event on Thursday, September 18 at 8 p.m. at Fine Line in Minneapolis. Doors open at 7.
The event will honor the legacy of diverse artists and farmers and lift up their lasting influence on roots music, culture and community that inspires us all. The program will feature artist Rissi Palmer, who is this year’s Academy of Country Music “Lift Every Voice” Award recipient. Farm Aid will also highlight images and stories of farmers from around the region.
