Music legend Willie Nelson will be live in concert with family and friends in the Florence Civic Center in Florence, South Carolina on February 9, 2013. Willie Nelson was born in 1933 and raised by his grandparents. Music has always been a part of Nelson’s life beginning when he wrote his first song at the age of seven. Since 1956 Willie’s music has been a big part in the lives of many people. Songs such as ‘Funny how time slips away’ and ‘Hello Walls’ spoke of life lived and love lost and found.
A controversial persona, Willie Nelson went on to be chair of the advisory board of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws. He owns the biodiesel brand Willie Nelson Biodiesel which makes fuel from vegetable oil.
