The Blackwood Quartet will perform on Saturday, June 5, at the Walnut Street Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Also performing will be Hillsboro resident Stephen Girsh, “The Singing Deputy.”
The concert will start at 7 p.m. There will not be a charge but a free-will offering will be taken.
The group’s legacy dates back to 1934 when the original Blackwood Brothers Quartet was formed.
The Blackwood Quartet will also perform at Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic.
