Last Saturday night (9/22/07) Willie Nelson and Family performed a benefit concert in Peru, Illinois, with profits going to help build a new playground for the Peru Catholic School. Children of the school created almost 100 posters to thank Willie and the band, and I’ve posted two of them here.
I love that concert scene. Looks like Mickey is doing a fancy rock-star jump.  And Paul has the full drum set out; maybe they are playing ‘Bloody Mary Morning’. The crowd is all on it’s feet dancing. I’m not sure if someone’s started a fire by the stage, or what that is. Great picture!

That poster just about says it all, doesn’t it! (He’s the best. He will do great. He’s a great singer.)
Thanks to Budrock “Buddy” Prewitt, Lighting Director for WN&F, for forwarding these pictures to me to share. He has a website at www.Budrock.com jam-packed with pictures of his collection of Willie Nelson and family posters, pictures, passes and picks.
