The Spirit of ’76 Celebration Continues at Carl’s Corner, and it’s live on Sirius/XM Radio

Willie Nelson is on stage with some configuration of his Family Band, but I don’t know who.  Some lucky fan will inform us about that later.   He’s got a female backup — maybe daughter Amy came out to sing with him.   I hear Sister Bobbie Nelson on piano, sounds like Paul English on drums, Billy English on percussion.  And I hear Lukas and his blues guitar.

And they’re playing all our favorites….

Whiskey River
Still is Still Moving to Me
Beer for My Horses
Good Hearted Woman
Ain’t it Funny (how time just slips away)
Crazy
Night Life
Down Yonder
Help Me Make it Through the Night
Me and Bobby McGee
Mama, Don’t Let Your Babies Grow up to be Cowboys
Angel Flying Too Close to the Ground
On The Road Again
You Were Always on My Mind
Will the Circle Be Unbroken
Milk Cow Blues
Bloody Mary Morning
Superman
Whiskey River

Yeah, I wish I was there, but since I couldn’t be, thanks so much to Willie’s Place and Sirius/XM Radio for letting me sit here in my pajamas in Colorado and listen to this great concert.

And thank you, Willie Nelson!
