If you have always wanted to visit Luck,Texas — and really, who hasn’ t– here’s your chance. Luck, Texas is the western town that was build on Willie Nelson’s Texas Ranch property for filming of the movie, “Red Headed Stranger.” The set has been used for other movies, videos, and special occasions, including concerts. Formerly run as Heartbreaker Banquet, this year, under new management, I think, the event as billed as the Luck Reunion. Nice ring to it, huh? There is a special chef’s tables fundraising banquet on Thursday, March 17th, and a concert on Friday, March 18th.
It is a small venue, and admission is limited, but if you want to go, organizers are inviting people to come and volunteer for the event. See the application to volunteer here.
Luck Reunion, an exclusive boutique event held at Willie Nelson’s private “Luck, TX” in the heart of the hill country is looking for volunteers to help with a variety of responsibilities. Volunteer efforts will be spread over three days (March 17-19) but most volunteers will be helping the day of the event (March 18). We will make sure you get plenty of time to enjoy the music!
