Some may not recognize Mr. Elder’s name, but you would recognize his artwork. He spent time in Los Angeles, when he hung out with rock stars and designed Album covers, when Album Art was at it’s pinnacle. The Eagle’s recording of “One of These Nights”, features Elder’s cow skull artwork, and the band’s 1970s Greatest Hits record has a painted image of an eagle skull. (Elder reassures that no eagle was harmed in the making of the work). Also, he designed album covers for Jackson Brown, Yacht and the 4 Way Street Band. Joni Mitchell owns one of Elder’s original skulls
