Thanks to Willie Nelson fans and my friends George and Dana for sending pictures from last night’s show at. They were sitting front and center in front of Willie, and they called me and let me listen to a large portion of the show. Thanks, friends!
“It was a nice show. The Wheel played first. Willie joined them for about 5 or so songs from their joint project, which was really enjoyable. And then after a small break, the Family with Ray Benson on guitar. All the usual stuff as well as a new song called No Body’s Fault But Mine, and some old gems like “Pick Up the Tempo” and Bloody Mary Morning. It was great to hear Ray play with them too. He’s really in-sync with Willie, and he adds a lot musically.
Willie closed the show with Pretty Paper and I’ll Fly Away, both favorites. It was a great show and the crowd was really into it. A nice early Christmas present.”
