The fire in Red Lodge forced the cancellation of a couple events — the Festival of Nations will not be rescheduled and the Cancer Run turned in to just a fundraiser without a run. But this summer’s major event is still a go.
Country music legend Willie Nelson will put on a charity concert August 22nd at the Red Lodge rodeo grounds to help raise money for the developmentally disabled. The last time Willie was in Red Lodge in 2000, a wildfire broke out west of Red Lodge during his concert, and was promtly dubbed the “Willie Fire.”
More than 2,500 tickets have been sold for Nelson’s concert this month, meaning that the remainder of ticket sales will go straight to charity.
Bill Kiely, organized the concert, and says he’s excited for what the event can do for the developmentally disabled.

Keep up the superb works guys I’ve included
you guys to our blogroll.
Admiring the time and effort you put into your site and in depth information you
present. It’s awesome to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same
unwanted rehashed material. Excellent read! I’ve saved your site and I’m including your RSS feeds to my Google account.
Very nice article, totally what I wanted to find.
Its like you read my thoughts! You seem to grasp
a lot about this, like you wrote the e-book in it or something.
I feel that you can do with a few p.c. to pressure the message
home a bit, however other than that, that is fantastic blog.
An excellent read. I will certainly be back.
