Whatever you call him, the country legend turns 87 today (and tomorrow, if you celebrate twice like he does).
There’s something else to celebrate as well. Singer Edie Brickell and Nelson teamed up for a new duet, released today. All proceeds from “Sing to Me, Willie” will go to MusiCares’ COVID-19 Relief Fund, Brickell said on Facebook.
Willie is a popular guy and his easygoing demeanor blends just as well with Billy Gibbons (from ZZ Top, pictured) as it does with politicians and Hollywood stars like Zooey Deschanel.
