Okay, well, it hasn’t been officially announced yet, but Willie Nelson mentioned on the Bill Mack xm radio show, that his 2008 Fourth of July Picnic Concert will be in San Antonio, Texas this year.  He promised more information to come later.
No venue has been announced, but he did mention the Alamodome, but again, nothing official. We all have to wait until it’s officially announced, but I’m excited just to hear talk about a 4th of July Picnic. Helps me get through this freezing January we are having in Colorado. I’m happy he’s looking at Texas for a concert on the Fourth of July. Wherever it is, I’ll be there.  Can’t wait to spend another 4th of July listening to Willie Nelson and Family and Friends in Texas again — that would be so great!
So, maybe we won’t book our flights yet, but it’s okay to ask for the Fourth of July off from work, and start planning a Texas vacation, isn’t it?
