Willie Nelson’s ‘Country Music’ highest charting new country album

Joe Nichols boasts this week’s top country song, “Gimmie That Girl,” Billboard reports.  And you will not likely topple over in surprise to learn that Lady Antebellum’s Need You Now remains No. 1 on the album rankings.  It’s been there since it debuted 13 weeks back.

The highest charting new album is Willie Nelson’s Country Music, which screeches in at No. 4. The other newcomers are Colt Ford’s Chicken & Biscuits (No. 8), Merle Haggard’s I Am What I Am (No. 18), Jason Boland & the Stragglers’ High in the Rockies: A Live Album (No. 27) and Whitney Duncan’s Right Road Now (No. 41).
