KANSAS CITY, Mo. Â –Â First it was postponed, then it was canceled – now we know Willie Nelson will be performing in Kansas City next week.
It’s the love from Metro fans that brought Nelson back to Starlight Theatre next Thursday. The cancellation disappointed so many fans in the area that many emailed and sent letters directly to Nelson begging him to reconsider.
Promoters said the message touched Nelson.
“He got bombarded with emails, calls and requests and he decided he didn’t want to let the fans down,” Jeff Fortier
Mammoth Productions, said.
