Willie Nelson flew in from Hawaii Tuesday morning, did a broadcast in Dallas in the afternoon, and was in the wings of Bass Hall to hear the Texas Girls’ Choir opening set. When the girls sang “Valentine” he was visibly moved and then came on the stage to finish the song.
Thanks to Willie Nelson who graciously appeared without any compensation, to all who attended the event, and to all our sponsors who underwrote the cost… The Texas Girls’ Choir cleared over $100,000!
Their site www.texasgirlschoir.org  shows this video is available for purchase, and I e-mailed them to ask if it still is, but haven’t heard back yet.
