
SOUTH BEND — Willie Nelson performs at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Morris Performing Arts Center, 211 N. Michigan St.
Known as one of country music’s “outlaws,” Nelson’s songs include “Hello Walls,” “On the Road Again,” “Blue Eyes Cryin’ in the Rain” and “Pancho and Lefty.”
The 84-year-old’s career also has included acting in several films, writing books and co-founding Farm Aid with Neil Young and John Mellencamp.
The opening act is Nelson’s son, Lukas, and his band, The Promise of the Real.
Tickets are $104-$54 and include a download of Nelson’s new album, “God’s Problem Child.”
