Luke Wilson Recalls Wild Night Out With Willie Nelson

Apparently, Luke Wilson told a British movie magazine  that he joined Willie Nelson at a concert rehearsal in Dallas in May and the two stars went on a wild night on the town.  

“It was one of the nights where we started drinking at four and went on Willie’s bus and then to a bar, then another, then another. “I made that classic mistake of thinking, ‘I’m already drunk, why not get smashed?’

“Apparently I had my hands on a pregnant woman’s stomach, feeling her child and telling her how beautiful she was.”

It’s hard to think of two guys it would be more fun to go out with, isn’t it?  I loved that video they made of the song ‘Maria.’  Great song, and Willie gets the girl and the classic cadillac, so it has a happy ending.

 

I don’t like to spread rumors, but this is such a good one., I can’t help myself.  This is unconfirmed, but Roy Rogers, a Hudson, Wisconsin blues guitarist stated in a recent  interview that he and his band were invited to play at the 2007 annual Sturgis Motorcyle Rally  at a 35,000-capacity outdoor venue, as a warm-up for Willie Nelson, Dwight Yoakam and Jimmy Buffet.

True or False?  I have no idea, but sounds like a lot of fun.

A new interview with Willie Nelson reveals that he is working on a song with Mariah for a film. Most likely, this is for her upcoming film Tennessee.

Willie was quoted saying, “These things come up, and I just say, ‘What a hell of a deal.’”

I ran into a friend in a bar near my work.  She said, “Hey, Linda!  I thought about you today.”

“Oh, that’s nice,” I said.  “How come?” I had to shout to be heard.

“I got a call from my friend in Denver, she’s a realtor.  SHe’s having dinner with Willie Nelson tonight! He’s buying a hotel in Denver.”
