Janis Tillerson and Steve Gilcrease were sharing stories and late night laughs at the the Blue Skies Cafe after Paula Nelson’s Show. We were all blushing.
Everybody was in a great mood, after hearing some great music by Paula Nelson and her band, and not so surprised guest Willie Nelson, following sets by Waylon Payne, Jarrett Schaub and the Vagabonds and Clay Canfield.

Tickets to the Paula Nelson & Guilty Pleasure concert on Saturday Night, April 10th, at Willie’s Place Theater in Carl’s Corner, TX are sold out — but you can still see the show on the internet, or listen on satellite radio.
Willie Nelson confirmed rumors that he would be the surprise guest on Saturday night when he was talking with Bill Mack on the radio yesterday. Fans knew that he was in Texas, on a short break before resuming his tour on April 13th, and wondered if he might make a surprise appearance at Carl’s corner. Yesterday he put the rumors to rest when he announced that he would join Paula Nelson on stage for a couple songs, when he called in for Willie Wednesday, on Willie’s Place, Sirius/XM satellite radio. He said that he would sing the Creedence Clearwater Revival song, ‘Have You Ever Seen the Rain,” that he recorded with Paula, and son Lukas Nelson, which will appear on Paula’s new album, set to be released this Spring.
The remaining unsold tickets to the show were quickly gobbled up by fans, of course.
Paula will also be joined by Waylon Payne, Jarrett Schaub and the Vagabonds.
But if you can’t be there in person, the concert will be streamed live over the internet, thanks to a collaboration between Willie Nelson, Luck Films and Willie’s Place at Carl’s Corner, Texas. For the link to the live broadcast on Saturday, visit www.LuckFilms.com or www.WilliesPlaceTexas.com.

Rumors of a surprise guest joining Paula Nelson concert on Saturday have been flying, and today Willie Nelson confirmed that he will show up on Saturday and sing a few songs with Paula at Willie’s Place Theater, Carl’s Corner, Texas.

Paula Nelson and the Guilty Pleasures perform in Willie’s Place Theater on April 10, 2010, and they will be joined by Jarrett Schaub and the Vagabonds.
